Australian Preliminary Competition 2024

This year, World Cosplay Summit Australia and SMASH! are proud to host the
WCS Australian Preliminary Competition in
Sydney, Australia on the 20th and 21st of July 2024.

 


The Winning Cosplay Team will be invited to compete in the 
World Cosplay Summit Championship as  
Team Australia 2025!
 


Entries are now open for the 2024 WCS Australia Preliminary Competition!
Entries close Sunday, the 30th of June at 11:59 PM (AEST).
 


What does the WCS Australia Preliminary Competition involve? 
 

  • A Team of two Cosplayers compete in a skit based competition

  • The costumes are handmade

  • The work must be a Japanese manga, anime, video game, or tokusatsu character

  • Stage performance judging time is 2 minutes and 30 seconds

  • Background screen can be used as a stage direction

  • Rank will be determined by the sum of the costume and stage performance judging

This form must be submitted within 72 hours after an Invitation to Compete email is received. The exact Submission Date & Time will be provided in the Invitation to Compete email, so please make sure to read it carefully.
